Each project has forged us so that today we use our experiences and our know-how to work with carpentry companies, master builders, project managers, architects as well as with individuals.
Our workshop was consulted by Menuiserie Bressan Frères from Gascogne for the manufacture of cremone bolts with solid brass buttons. Clients are passionately renovating uninhabited spaces for over 100 years. You can follow their adventures on Instagram.
Paris
To renovate their Haussmann apartment, our clients worked with the architects from the GCG firm. To equip the windows, our workshop was invited to create custom-made solid brass espagnolette bolts based on the dimensions of the new joinery already installed on site. The result is appreciated. The colours and materials of the hardware give the apartment its own character. In addition, the whole is in harmony with the restored mouldings on the walls.
To finish the project, our workshop, having the necessary know-how, produced the grilles for the floor radiators.
In the last photo you will find the detail on the espagnolette handle. Customers sent us a photo of the handle taken at the Palace of Versailles. Our workshop was inspired by this photo to provide the first prototype. Once the model was validated by the customers and their architects, and after several discussions with the joinery manufacturer and the installer, we launched the production. For handles and their supports. We used solid brass to produce handles and their supports, we polished it. The rods of the espagnolette bolts were made from solid steel, brushed and treated by the black oxide finishing.

The architect specialising in heritage conservation, Mr Stefan Gunther, led the restoration work on Gunnebo Castle. Thanks to his knowledge and our shared know-how, we have created beautiful espagnolette bolts and hinges. In 2024, a book will be published to cover the history of the whole project.
